The Heart as a Torn Muscle Response
Reading the prose, “The Heart as a Torn Muscle” by Randon Billings Noble, took me to a rather dark place. This prose is written out as if it was on a medical platform, categorizing symptoms, cautions, and recommendations. I find that the actions of transforming an emotion to a physical symptom properly uncovers the reality of heartbreak. The pain of heartbreak is very much underestimated, and the pain is not only subject to that of emotion. Heartbreak is just as physical, as it is mental.
